Steve has spent three decades fighting insurance companies on behalf of personal injury clients. He handles car accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice and on the job accidents. Steve has been designated as an AV Preeminent rated attorney, a Florida Super lawyer, 2025 “Best Lawyers in America” recognized in Orlando Magazine. won numerous other awards and designations including Guardian Ad Litem of the Year. He has been successful in obtaining multiple million dollar plus recoveries for his clients and their families. He was recently named as a Board Member of the Maccabee Bar Association, and has been an active Guardian Ad Litem, for over 30 years.
Among his career highlights includes the opportunity to serve as a volunteer attorney representing families of firefighters killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He also regularly speaks to high school students and others about the dangers of drunk driving, internet bullying, and addiction related issues.
He is also a writer with several published short stories, and a Memoir due out on Father’s Day. His hobbies include running, fishing, tennis, reading, and adventure travel.
Steve is a father of five children and married to Melissa Ross, MPH, who dedicated her career for 23 years as a federal employee managing health and wellness programs for the U.S Coast Guard. She now uses her skills working as personal fitness trainer and health coach for women in her business, Coach On the Spot.
